Pricing Plans
Document Stack offers flexible pricing based on your PDF generation volume. All plans include the full template editor, all element types, and API access.

Free Plan
The Free plan is perfect for trying out Document Stack or for personal projects with low volume. It includes:
- 100 PDF generations per month
- 1 project with up to 5 templates
- Full template editor with all element types
- REST API and SDK access
- Community support
No credit card is required. You can upgrade to Pro at any time.
Upgrading Your Plan
- Go to Settings → Billing in your organization
- Click Upgrade next to the plan you want
- Enter your payment details
- Your new limits take effect immediately
Upgrades are prorated — you only pay for the remaining days in the current billing cycle.
Downgrading
You can downgrade at any time from Settings → Billing. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Before Downgrading
If your current usage exceeds the lower plan's limits (e.g., more than 5 templates on Free), you won't lose any data, but you won't be able to create new templates or projects until you're within the limits.Viewing Invoices
All invoices are available in Settings → Billing → Invoice History. You can:
- View past invoices with amounts and dates
- Download PDF invoices for your records
- Update your billing email for invoice delivery
Payment Methods
Document Stack accepts credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). To update your payment method:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter your new card details
Usage Monitoring
Track your PDF generation usage from the organization dashboard:
- Current period usage — How many PDFs you've generated this month
- Remaining quota — How many generations remain
- Usage history — Monthly trends and per-project breakdown
You'll receive email notifications at 80% and 100% of your monthly quota.
Enterprise Plan
For organizations with high-volume needs, the Enterprise plan offers:
- Unlimited PDF generations
- Unlimited projects, templates, and team members
- SSO / SAML authentication
- Dedicated support with SLA
- Custom data retention policies
- Volume-based pricing
