Account Settings

Manage your personal account settings — profile, password, notifications, and preferences.

Accessing Account Settings

To open your account settings:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard
  2. Select Account Settings

Account settings are personal to you and separate from organization settings. Changes here affect your profile across all organizations you belong to.

Profile

Update your public profile information:

  • Display name — Shown to team members and in activity logs
  • Profile picture — Upload an avatar or use your Gravatar
  • Email address — Your primary email for login and notifications
Changing your email address requires re-verification. You'll receive a confirmation link at your new email.

Password

If you signed up with email and password, you can change your password:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Security
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click Update Password

Password Requirements

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long. Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for best security.

Connected Accounts

If you signed up with Google or GitHub, your account is connected to that provider. You can:

  • View which social accounts are linked
  • Connect additional providers for alternative sign-in methods
  • Set a password to enable email-based login as a backup

Notifications

Control which emails you receive:

  • Usage alerts — Notifications when you approach or exceed your quota
  • Team activity — When team members are added or removed
  • Product updates — New features and announcements
  • Billing — Payment confirmations and invoice delivery

Active Sessions

View all active sessions for your account. Each session shows the browser, operating system, and last active time. You can revoke any session to force a sign-out on that device.

Deleting Your Account

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Danger Zone
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Type your email to confirm

Before Deleting

If you're the sole Owner of any organization, you must either transfer ownership or delete the organization first. Deleting your account removes your membership from all organizations.
